February News Round-up

Barely three months have ticked by, yet 2023 is already shaping up to be another bumper year for us here at Hacksaw Gaming. After delighting fans with two highly-entertaining titles to usher in the new year - the slapstick cat-and-mouse tomfoolery of R.I.P. City, followed by some slothful harvesting in Frank’s Farm, February saw us announce our own proprietary distribution platform, while two more characteristically Hacksaw Gaming creations rolled off the production line. In between, there was even time for a number of max wins at the reels - making February a month to remember! Let’s dive into some of the highlights in a little detail...

Bloodthirst Brings the Chills

Thirsty for some blood-curdling fun? Continuing our studio’s penchant for the dark and terrifying, our latest 5x4, 10-payline release Bloodthirst hit the digital shelves on the second day of the month to darken the mood somewhat since Frank’s Farm’s carefree farmyard frolics. Boasting a sizeable 10,000x max win, the game employs similar expressive art used to dress up Wanted Dead or a Wild while packing a few explosive features of its own. Central to the action are Monster Reels, created when 5 simultaneous matching symbols land on a reel. Line-up all reels with Monsters, and the Monster Takeover feature triggers, paying out mega wins equal to 100x, 250x, 1,000x, or 2,500x the stake.

Pigs Take Flight in Magic Piggy

Who said pigs can’t fly?! You’ll find heaps of the cute porcine cretins floating across the reels in our brand-new bright and bubbly creation Magic Piggy. Dropping today, Magic Piggy is a medium volatility 5x5 game set in a glitzy game studio peppered with piles of cash, and of course, plenty of piggies. Our latest release packs a host of magic tricks. Look out for titular symbols that can either reveal Wilds or Bill Stacks when activated by the Magic Hat. Bill Stack values can reach as high as 1,000, with multiplier coins potentially boosting their returns further. The aim in the Pig and Epig (yes, we did…) bonus rounds is to fill the meters located above each reel to drop even more winged piggies for truly Epig wins! With a max win worth 7,500x the bet, this is one piggy-infused magic show you don’t want to miss!

Plans to Launch Content Distribution Platform Unveiled

When Hacksaw Gaming started out in 2019, we needed a little helping hand to get our games to market from the likes of Relax Gaming and iSoftBet. A not uncommon situation faced by young, up-and-coming studios. Now, barely four years on, we’re returning the favor and rolling out our very own content distribution platform designed to help independent studios with penetration and enhance their brand visibility. OpenRGS is scheduled to launch some time in Q2 2023, and we can’t wait to see how well it is received by our partners.

Hacksaw Gaming Games Now Available at William Hill

The month has also seen us form an alliance with William Hill which means our games can now be enjoyed by customers of the esteemed operator. William Hill is a true veteran of gambling with roots dating all the way back to 1934 when online slots were little more than a flight and fancy. This deal represents another huge step for Hacksaw Gaming as we seek to bolster our international footing. A selection of popular Hacksaw Gaming games will go live to begin with, including Wanted Dear of a Wild and Chaos Crew, with more games to be integrated over the coming months. Commenting on the deal, Hacksaw Gaming CEO, Marcus Cordes, said: “William Hill is an iconic name in betting and casino with a huge presence in the UK. This deal enables us to strengthen our footprint across key markets and we look forward to a lasting relationship with our new partner.”
